hunger games

ok so i just finished cathcing fire!! OMG!
anyway does anyone see the similarities between Katniss and Bella Swan?
i haven't thought about it in great detail and can't put my finger on it. mabye it is the stuborness or the amazing love triangles( gale= edward, peeta=jacob).

Um, not sure if the girls read the book, but here is my take:

- They both try to put others before themselves and try to be self-sacrificing, but fail. Miserably.
- They both are very intuitive with some things (Katniss = hunting [she always knows how to hit the animal eye on] and Bella = thoughts and the truth [like she knew subconsciously what Jake and Edward are])
- They are terrible at reading how someone reacts to them (Katniss is oblivious that Peeta is obviously in love with her and Bella doesn't think she is that attractive and does not understand why Tyler, Mike, Eric and all the rest are seemingly in love with her)
- They both are book-smart
- They share similiar features: thin, long dark hair
- They share woes on getting married
- They are fiercly protective of those they love (Prim and Nessie)

And the love triangles (Katniss-Peeta-Gale and Bella-Edward-Jacob).

yeah , i guess they are really similar. but i still prefer katniss by a long way.
