Childrens Names

This is a re-submission as the first time I sent this I was having very bad computer and internet trouble so I have no idea even if it was sent or not.

I wondered if any of you would consider naming any of your future children after anyone in the Twilight saga? I visited my friend recently who had just given birth to twins and has named them Isabella Ashley and Edward Jacob.

If I was going to name one of my children after one of my obsessions, Twilight would not make that list. Even so, it just seems weird unless you do it in a subtle way.

Not that I'm saying it doesn't work. I like the names your friend chose, but if I named my daughter 'Isabella' it would be a coincidence.

Possibly. The names used in Twilight are fairly common, so it would not
be that difficult. Angela, Isabella, Jessica, Mike, Jacob, Ben....

I
love the name Andromeda (Harry Potter and My Sister's Keeper) and I
want to name my first daughter Marilyn. (Pronounced Mar-E-lyn, not
Mare-a-lyn). And if I ever had twins, I love Gred and Forge.

In
all likelihood I will name my kids after some of my favorite
characters. (Clary [Clarrissa]) is really starting to grow on me, and I
love the names Peeta and Jace. (Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games).

The names from the series I wouldn't mind naming my children are Jasper, Isabella, and Carlie (Nessie's middle name). What's funny is my grandpa's name is Edward and he's been trying to get all the grandchildren to name a kid after him. None of us want to, not even me.

I think i might. I've always loved the name Isabella, even before Twilight. I really love the name Esme too. One of my new favorite names!

The only one I would ever consider would be Mary Alice. It has a nice classic ring to it, but most people don't even think of Alice in that way, so it's not directly linked to Twilight. I have a friend who has the name and I just think it's really pretty.

I was talking with a friend before the midnight showing and learned she has a nephew named Cullen who was named after our favorite vampire family.

Like his first name is Cullen? Poor kid!

that's pretty normal... i know two kids with the first name cullen
