Kings of Leon on New Moon soundtrack? Yes, Please!

When New Moon news comes in, it seems to come all at once.
Several sites (RottenTomatoes, HitFix, and others) just composed a fantastic interview with Chris Weitz. It's extremely interesting to hear what he has to say, but this part was most intriguing. **This article is not to be missed.**

Q: Really quickly on the music. The first movie probably made
Paramore as a band. Were you surprised by the number of acts wanting
to be on the sequel and have you had to turn anybody down?

Well,fortunately I'm not at the stage where I have to turn anybody down yet,
because everything is still kind of up in the air, but I am surprised
by some of the bands that have said they are interested. It's kind of
great. The criteria will still be what's right for the movie at that
given moment, but y'know, Thom Yorke is interested. We might, if we're
very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something. So, it's exciting to
have access to this kind of talent.


Kings of Leon + Muse + Radiohead + New Moon = One fantastical, super, mega, wonderful soundtrack. Am I right?

So true, it would be the best ever. And if Coldplay actually gets on there too (but I doubt it because they are so big he most likely would have mentioned something), it would be one huge British Alternative Rock Band invasion (even though Kings of Leon isn't but you get it). Give me more bands Summit!!!
