New Moon Question

ok, this question is from Jenna, Emilie,Randi, and Ashley
In New Moon it says " daized and disoriented, i looked up from the bright red blood plusing out of my arm into the feivered eyes of the six sudenly ravenous vampires."
what we dont understand is who are the six vampirs? We know thta there is Alice, Jazz, Rose, Em, and Esme. but thats only five. Carlisle can stand it, because he is around blood all the time. and Edward can stand it because he loves Bella so much, we were wondering if you guys could help? thanks so much!!!

I was also thinking Edward was the sixth because Carlisle is basically all but immune to his thirst for human blood, but Edward still has a problem with it. I think that is one reason why Edward left. He was putting Bella in danger not just because of the Cullens attracting other vampires to her, but also because he doesn't know if he will snap one day. There is an extremely well written fanfiction that is New Moon from EPOV that explains it. It's called Dark Side of the Moon (like the Mulan song). I mean, this is just one person's interpretation of what Edward is feeling during this incredibly tough time, but it makes total sense and goes along with New Moon. Hope that helps.

It was definately Edward, because even though he can stand it at times, he usually prepares himself for it.

lol yes! *hi 5's Randi* We where right by the looks of it! lol I totally thought it was Edward cuz he did have the straight back then, but it wasn't as develops at the start of new moon as at the end of the series, (or so i think) lol

It is Edward.

He still thirsts for Bella's blood, but unlike some of the others (Cough, cough JASPER!) he can control himself. But only because it is Bella. He wants to drink her blood, but he loves her enough that he can control himself. For a limited time anyway.
