I'm rereading Eclipse, and I'm currently on the part where Jasper tells his tale about Maria and the new born vampire armies. Jasper said that Maria 'rewarded' them when they did something good. I can't remember if you went over this when you were deconstructing Eclipse, but what do you think those rewards are? And also, could those rewards lead to a little Jasper/Maria action?
